If a problem is found, you may be offered a termination of the pregnancy

  • If you decide to end the pregnancy, you will usually have to go into labour to deliver your baby.
  • If you are more than 21 weeks and 6 days pregnant it may be suggested to you that your baby is given an injection before your labour is induced, to ensure that your baby is not born alive.
