Getting the Results

• Your midwife or obstetrician will discuss with you how you want to receive the results.
• In some units, the results are discussed with you face to face.
• You may want to come into hospital to be given the result or be telephoned.

Please remember that an amniocentesis might show a problem (see: if a problem is found).
